Kerri Quinn is a New York City based writer, producer and director. Her short film “Lady Liberty” is in post-production. Upcoming film projects include “Texas Hold’em” and “Leaf Boy.”
Kerri has written and produced her own Off-Broadway productions. Her scope of writing is enhanced by her study of improv and acting. In 2012, she was nominated for Heideman Award by the Actors Theater of Louisville. In addition to writing plays, she also writes short fiction, children’s books, and nonfiction. One of her nonfiction pieces appeared in the New York Times in 2017.
Kerri has also worked as a freelance creative consultant and scriptwriter for Q Media, an outdoor documentary film company based in Flagstaff, Arizona.
Kerri has taught creative writing at Northern Arizona University and as well after-school creative writing workshops for young girls. She currently coaches writing clients across the country.
Kerri holds a PhD from The University of Southern Mississippi.
